Finland’s Yyteri

If you want some fresh air with a touch of history, then visiting Finland’s Pori-Rauma Region is the best thing to do when in Finland. In this region, you will see the Satakunta, which is like a miniature version of Finland with lots of beautiful places to visit and is known for its legendary jazz, blues, and rock music festivals. The Bothnian Sea is considered as the Jewel of Satakunta, for it contains beautiful landscapes and excellent sandy beaches of Yyteri and the Kylmapihlaja lighthouse island.
Travelers who will visit the Yyteri will surely enjoy with the various sights and activities that they can do and enjoy. With its six kilometers of fine sands and dunes, Yyteri will surely be a paradise for sunbathers. The Yyteri has a lot to offer including their excellent seawater for the windsurfers to enjoy. One can also have a great view of the sea, wherein they will able to see from the coast various cargo ships arriving at the port of Pori and some small fishing boats who are leaving early for fishing from Ahlainen or Reposaari.

They can have a scenic view or experience wall climbing from the renovated Yyteri Observation Tower. The tower has restaurant that is open upon request and a café that is open in summer.
Another great thing that a traveler can do in Yyteri is to have a good visit and enjoy the spectacular views of the Wind Energy Park that has numerous windmills with huge rotating blades built over the sea along the causeway that connects MMantyluoto and Reposaari.
