The Ox Road in Hame is definitely a perfect place to visit when in Finland as this road from the landscapes of West Finland to the Forest terrain of Hame was used by king, soldiers, merchants, pilgrims, and Viking for a thousand years already.
The Kings Route – is one of the three routes of Southern Finland and Archipelago that is worth paying a visit. Kings and their couriers, bishops and townsmen, artists and armies use this historical route of Southern Finland since the 1300s. With its initial purpose to unite the eastern and western parts of the Kingdom of Sweden, this known road of Southern Finland gives the travelers the chance to know about the Finnish history and nature. Travelers will see medieval churches, beautiful mansions, and beautiful villages that show the past and present of Finland.
The Archipelago Trail – this third known route of Southern Finland and Archipelago carries the intention to promote tourism and traveling in south-western Finland. Used by approximately 20,000 tourists each year, the Archipelago Trail has 190 kilometers of public ways and offers its travelers a unique way to get familiar with the eye-catching archipelago of Turku.
