The Helsinki Festival in Finland

Visit Finland in late summer and join the fun as they celebrate the largest arts festival in Finland, the Helsinki Festival. With the aim to make art accessible for all, the Helsinki Festival features various events like classical and world music, circus, Dance Theater, a children’s program, cinema and a variety of urban events.
If you are a performer and wanted to be on stage during the festival, you can send you proposals to FAO Production Manager / Helsinki Festival. With the high volume of proposals that they received, they want the performers to take note that the Helsinki Festival production group were unable to provide feedback to all the materials they received.
On the other hand, if you are an audience who wanted to watch the performers during the festival, you can simply purchase your tickets at the Lippupiste or online via the Lippupiste and Lippupalvelu websites. One can also purchase their tickets at the Baltic Sea ticket and get a chance to protect the Baltic Sea. Discounted tickets are available for students, conscripts, civilian servicemen, the unemployed, senior citizens, the under 18 years old, and professionals employed in the culture section.
Another discount of ten percent is available to a group of 15 or more or those who are buying tickets for five different events in a single purchase. This discount is available at the Lippupiste ticket outlets.
The Helsinki Fetival is not serving foods, but certain venues like the Finlandia Hall and the Huvilla Festival Tent have a restaurant service of their own. The Huvilla Festival Tent Restaurant is also available for audiences above 18 years old and those below 18 years old provided their parents or guardian accompanies them. The Helsinki Festival Tent is a perfect venue after each show because it serves alcohol and is open from 6pm to midnight each night.
